Green Remodeling

Green remodeling can benefit the environment and save a bundle on bills. However, the task can seem difficult, and in some cases the cost can appear to outweigh the benefits. Below you will find tips in green remodeling and new green technologies now available on the market.Tank-less Water Heaters: Before we get to Tank-less water heaters lets first discuss how traditional water heaters work. Traditional water heaters use electrical or gas energy to heat the water, and keep more water warm in the water heater all the time.  New, tank-less water heaters heat water only as it travels through the pipes. So you only heat the water that you need. And since Water heaters are a huge source of energy consumption for the home, it is recommended that you upgrade to a tank-less water heater if possible. If it not possible to upgrade to a tank-less water heater yet, you could insulate your traditional water heater, and also the cold and hot water lines.
